FRILLS & FLORALS
We have noticed a bit of a trend within our new Autumn arrivals with so many pieces flaunting stunning floral patterns or feminine frills, creating an array of stand out pieces that we simply cannot go past.
It's easy to fall into a boring 'dark jeans & jacket' trap when the cooler weather sets in but having a few stand out pieces to throw into the mix can elevate your outfit whilst still keeping you nice and warm when rooftop bars & tapas are calling!
Don't get us wrong - we love a good jeans and jacket combo, but we are all about throwing some stand out pieces in the mix to make them pop. The detailing on the Stevie May Byron Bay 'Euphoria' L/S Top (above) adds the perfect touch to any outfit and the light material means its a perfect tran-seasonal piece - bonus! Our Takata Cardi Cape by Mesop adds a nice contrast to this outfit whilst managing to have us dreaming of snuggling up in it on the couch with a cup of tea - bliss!
When it comes to an occasion that calls for something a little dressy, the Midnight Blooms Wrap Midi Dress by Stevie May Byron Bay (we are noticing a pattern) is all of our frilly, florally dreams wrapped into one!
This stunning piece, although dressy, can be perfect for dinner & drinks with friends or even a black-tie occasion. Throw a black leather jacket (Dylan Leather Jacket) into the mix for an edgy look that's fit for an Autumn day!
If you're like us and LOVE the cooler months, but are still quite happy to soak up the warmth while it lasts...you'll love the Nostalgia Ruffle Mini Dress by Stevie May Byron Bay!
A subtle nod to the 1920s Gatsby-style ruffles, with a satisfyingly modern floral infused twist, this dress is about as sweet as they come! We love teaming this one with our Dylan Leather Jacket too, if its a tad cooler, or just alone with a delicious drink in hand & perfectly manicured hair like Leeanda (above).
We are excited to see what's to come by way of texture and patterns as the Winter styles begin to drop in store and if this is anything to go by, our wallets will be empty...but our wardrobes full!
